Most scientifically inaccurate movies.

My observations:
1. The list loses credibility right out of the gate due to the omission of An Inconvenient Truth.

2. Starship Troopers? Really? This one seems to be filler because they didn't want to take a shot at a bigger named film and piss people off. Their reasoning about the bugs aiming an asteroid that well is beyond ridiculous. Nowhere in the film is it mentioned that the attack was a precision hit. How about they got lucky? Stupid inclusion. A complete cop out when you consider they could've added a couple of movies featuring muppets and Jedis.

3. "This movie is to climate science as Frankenstein is to heart transplant surgery." - Easy top 10 candidate for best quotes ever.

4. The last one contains what I assume is a massive spoiler as I haven't seen the new Indy yet.

Scientifically inaccurate. Does that include violations of physics? Cos "Bad Boys 2" & "Transporter 2" would need to be in there somewhere.

Ah...I think they're claiming these are the worst 10 offenders. Yet another reason why I made observation #1.

I applaud any excuse to insult Starship Troopers. That piece of shit was a raping of one the best stories by one of the fathers of modern science fiction.

Not that He would have minded it too much. He was all about the paycheck.

I agree with that, but I think the criticism in this case is pointless.

Oh, if you think Starship Troopers was bad, I double dog dare you to rent the sequel. Consider all the themes from the book, and then picture liberal Hollywood going further than they did with the original... I think I rated it here as a 0 out of 10.

The better news is that Starship Troopers 3 is soon to be released to DVD.

There is no sequel. I refuse to believe that it exists.
