A really good hit-man ends up taking care of a 9 year old Natalie Portman, unexpectedly, and it has the usual results, if somewhat darker.

I'm learning that Luc Beeson, the director, has a very distinctive style. After having seen The Fifth Element a billion times, I was sitting at Vince watching another movie, one with Mila Jovavich playing Joan of Arc. There was a certain film edit... I said, "Vince, did Luc Beeson direct this?" He looked it up, and yep.

So this is a Luc Beeson film, and if you're a fan, this is very much his style.

Ugh. The more I'm exposed to his shit, the more I despise him.

Maybe you saw this movie in your blue period, or while having your period, or something.

This movie rocks. One of my top 20 of all time, if I had such a list.

Very violent ending.

Don't get me wrong, I think "The Professional" is the best work he's done. That being said, I consider it decent at best.
