It started tonight. Two hour season premiere. If you missed it it will be on again Sunday from 10 to 12pm. Also on Sunday night and Monday morning.

Pretty good, IMO. I wonder how far they are going to go with the whole terrorist angle.

I haven't read anything past my last post. . . can you modify the thread title to indicate the level of spoilage that will be discussed here?

If someone wants to edit my post, please do, but it's only referencing events from the first show (I presume that would be okay ... hard to discuss season 3 without referencing what happens in season 3)

That's why I didn't read anything here (until now cause I've seen it). But, if people were still just talking about when it was on, or how to get it downloaded or something, then that would be safe. . . Just wanted to know the status of the thread before I read something I didn't want to.
Playing Eve the other night, someone came on Teamspeak and said "Wow, what an episode. I can't believe they killed him!". My sixth sense told me that I should stop listening and I took my headphones off. Asked in game chat what they were talking about, and it was BSG. That's when I asked if Season 3 had started. So, the whole time I'm watching, I'm trying to figure out who was going to die. . . sucked. But then, when it was over. . . Who died?! I missed it if any main characters died. Well, except for the very end where you really don't know for SURE, I guess.

They make it appear that someone might die, but then they take away all that suspense by showing the person in the preview for next week.

I never watch the previews. I learned that they give spoilers every damn time. But, I did make the mistake of fast forwarding through them and did see some shit I didn't like.
Who ever picks the previews is fucking retarded. The other thing they did last two seasons was at the beginning of the episode, they would flash images of that nights episode, and there were spoilers in there too. I always looked away during the last part of the opening credits/theme song.

Heh.
If I didn't know better, I'd say Aaron Williams was lurking on this BBS.

I'm watching the show now and they just did the coolest shit. The battlestar launched the fighters in the atmosphere of the planet after it had FTL'ed there, dropped like a rock, then FTL'ed out of there. It was bad ass. In, out, and thank you maam!

Pretty cool indeed, although I'm surprised the vipers could handle the sheer of launching into that turbulance.
This show just keeps getting better, IMO. Whoever that guy was that "reimagined" this thing can reimagine any damn thing he wants to, I'll watch it.

I REALLY liked the launch too. ONLY problem I had was the chance meeting of Casey's mom and SB in the hangar. All the people, all the ships, and they meet at that exact moment. . . But other than that, I can't remember another show, ever, that I can't wait till the next episode comes out like this one.

Yeah, that bothered me, too. I get really annoyed when shows use unlikely coincidence to drive the plot. It's weak writing. I'll forgive it as long as they don't keep it up, though.

GODDAMMIT......
Watched the last 4 episodes of season 2 last night, with the OH HOLY FUCK... ONE YEAR LATER??!!?? ending.
Went to watch the first couple/few episodes of season 3 tonight... and my DVR didn't catch the first episode of the season. Just the following six.
Goddammit.
I'm bit-torrenting like mad at the moment.
And no, I haven't read any of this thread. Just posting in it and whining.

I still have the first episode (and the 'what happened so far' thing) on DVR. If you can't find it, I'll look into what it will take to get it available to you.

From where? Just noticed last night that I missed the episode on the 10th. Sat down to catch up and it was missing. Not cool. . . .
