"Footloose" to be remade.

Seriously, come the fuck on. Remade Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, Escape from New York, & now Footloose? Shit, someone gonna try to remake "Old School" pretty soon? Surprised someone hasn't suggested an "Animal House" remake yet.

When I clicked the link I thought "Oh please be starring Heath Ledger." But alas, no. I guess he's too old.

The "remake gap" is closing. Used to be remake flicks from thirty years ago. Looks now like it's inching closer to the twenty-five year mark. Eventually, we'll just being seeing ten different versions of the same flick simultaneously released w\ various actors' faces photoshopped into the film.
