Just implying the only reason you don't see racism is cuz you're blind.

sarcastically and all.

It's an unfortunate coincidence. There's a history of equating blacks with lesser evolved humans ala apes. There's also this nifty feature on amazon that recommends movies based on customer data, so maybe a high percentage of folks who bought Planet of the Apes also bought a copy of the MLK jr documentary. Unfortunately it only takes one person to get their panties in a wad. Personally I don't see racism here. Maybe a bad set of customer data.

Looks caucasian to me.

In my opinion it was a rather astute match up. It makes me think that some person made an educated database entry for PotA.

Anybody ever thought that maybe the automated system just matched up movies based on the word "apes"?

I'd bet any automated system would be more likely to pair PotA with Gorillas in the Mist and other nature themed shows rather than say Star Wars.

Sorry, but if your skin isn't black then anything you have to say on the topic of racism is null and void.

I'm from St. Louis. Does that count?

In visible light "black" is the absent of all color... hello!
