FCKH8 spokesperson Luke Montgomery spoke to the grandfather and grandson to confirm that the letter is real.
Take that for what it's worth.

I find the idea of a horrible mother and a good grandfather to be completely believable. I'm sure the mother didn't share the letter, but if the grandfather showed it to his grandson before sending it I can imagine him taking that picture of it. And then sharing it later.
I buy it.
