I've heard that #3 is about 50/50 on being true. They've traced it back to newspaper articles, but they can't find a police report that says, "Dudes jacked his car."

3. Unverifiable, but given how much the story changes over time, unlikely. Also a careful search of news archives from Feb/Mar 1990 reveals no stories published at the time on the topic, which given how good of a story it is also seems unlikely if it were true.
4. Probably True-ish, most likely a corrupted version of a story told by Marc Acito
