Texan gets 9th DUI, gets 80 years in prison. Is this good or bad? While this isn't exemplary behaviour, let's keep in mind that people who've committed second degree murder have been known to get lighter sentences.

Not certain what the cost of incarceration is in Texas but recent US average is just under 30K. The tax payers of Texas will spend $240,000 in 2012 dollars to lock this jerk up if he lasts 80 years.
