Because he might be subject to U.S. laws.
They deem the laws to be Draconian because he might never be set free.
Hey UK, when does the victim get to forget about the molestation?
Hey UK, when does this scumbag stop being sexually attracted to children? Are you saying who you're attracted to can be fixed if it's not "socially accepted"?
Fucking wankers.

While I do think child molestors need, at the minimum, to be castrated, I do agree with England's point about the US Justice Department being out of control, and the perpetual punishment of a Sex Offender Registry.
There aren't "I Killed Someone" Registries.

Sex Offender Registries are stupid.
Because registration requirements are overbroad in scope and overlong in duration, there are more than 600,000 registered sex offenders in the US, including individuals convicted of non-violent crimes such as consensual sex between teenagers, prostitution, and public urination, as well as those who committed their only offenses decades ago
Taking a leak in public? Nasty: yes. Sex offense: no way.

As long as he's spending the rest of his life in the UK and not the US, that's good enough for me. Exile is an effective way to make sure he stays away from US children in the future.
What about the UK children, you ask? If their government wants them raped, that's their problem.
