He is anyi-Stephen Colbert, since Colbert is an "unabashed right wing radical," and "must be stopped..."

I didn't sense any irony in his article.... so does he seriously not get the joke?

There's a note clarifying his comedic history. Perhaps that's to show it's their participation in the joke?

Oh.... well I guess when a joke needs to be explained it is really funny.
