So this is a thing now.
For birthday cakes, it made sense. But pizzas? When's the last time you saw a pizza sitting uneaten for more than 2 minutes? Cakes sit there through the whole party and are eaten later. Pizza is eaten now.
And is it just me or does it make the pizza look a lot less tasty?
