How do you not get this by now?
He's not a racist, he's a Democrat. He's simply explaining his outlook on the Republican field. He's doing so via the website of a respected and unbiased news outlet.
Now if he was a Republican, then he would be a racist, and spewing hate speech. But hey, that'd be normal at the right wing haven that is Fox News, which is where his column would obviously be found, and thus, it'd be meaningless.
