It is becoming a huge thing here. Rarely does a week go by where Nutella isn't brought up by someone with a recipe or singing its praises.

I get why it's become popular. It's an alternative to peanut butter.

However, it sucks. Every time I see someone talking about it like it's awesome I'm reminded of the rice cakes fad.

I find it quite tasty. Although as delicious as it is I can't quite figure out what to do with it. It wouldn't be a good peanut butter replacement at all. It's more like a chocolate spread sort of thing.

They make these little things that have cookie sticks and a bit of nutella to dip them in. This I like.

Sweet foods can be bad for you, but some are good for the economy, too. France’s ecology minister is praising Nutella, the hazelnut chocolate spread, saying its use of palm oil is contributing to massive increases in living standards for workers in Asia and Latin America.
