Growing up my friends and I pretended to be rock starts at least a few times. We even had a "band" named Gemini (none of us played any instruments, of course, just imaginary ones).

Meanwhile, my wife never had this dream growing up.

Yep, I have often dreamed I got to stand-in playing some instrument for some huge metal band, and it's an awesome dream.

Been in a couple cover bands. Both were more than respectable. I go from rock amateur to rock semipro.

Nope. Never interested me.
Looks like way too much work. I was born lazy.

Didn't need to dream it, I lived it... Well, sorta.
Not to toot my own horn but, I was in an original rock band for some time that had the opportunity to open up for some big acts and play in some large venues (arenas).
I've got to meet up and play with Kid Rock, Def Tones, Ted Nugent, Jerry Cantrell, The Cult, Papa Roach, Sammy Hagar (I actually walked in on him taking a shit) and some other smaller names.
And also got to play in some great venues, the best being the House of Blues in Chicago, The Palace in Auburn Hills Michigan, The Rave in Milwaukee, and some sweet ass place in NYC that I can't remember the name of right now (not CBGB's).
I even got to sign a few pairs of boobs along the way.

We were called Mad Mordigan. We weren't the best at social media, or marketing, or even actually recording a full CD. We have a few demo recordings that Columbia Records payed for but they never got released, we just sold them outta the back of the van at our shows.
I believe we have a Myspace page out there somewhere (because, ya know, you had to have one of those!) but that's about it. We were young and dumb, didn't really think about all that stuff back then. Just drinking, smoking and rocking, it was some fun times.
