As a number it would be 2,010. Two thousand and ten. But as a year. 2010. Why is there no comma in the year? It is still year Two thousand ten years isn't it?
Googled it but got no satisfactory answers.

Accountants usually don't use a comma when they write 4 digit number, either.
I imagine in the year 20,010 they'll be using the comma.
