I've tried various Crumbl cookies, and aside from the chocolate chip cookie, they've all sucked.

I don't know about "demonic" though...

Well, there's a lawsuit.

But yeah, those things are disgusting.

Isn't that describing pretty much all food nowadays? The things she listed as 'toxins' are in 90% of the food at the store.

Yes it is, and it's a major issue that Kennedy is supposed to be addressing.

I don't look to Europe for much in the way of leadership, but they certainly do a great job in what food products they allow to be sold to their people.

Thank. God it's a Republican, otherwise we'd have to hear about the nanny state.

If it was a Democrat we'd have to hear about restricting Capitalism.

I think that was my point?

I don't know why two party politics was brought into it at all?

Because Democrats wanted to make school lunches healthier, or introduce suggestions for healthier eating, and Republicans raised absolute hell. Now it's their idiot telling people to eat healthier (although many of his statements are wrong), and this is JUST FINE for the government to do.

Ok, but what do school lunches have to do with Crumbl?

Also, Google says Rs have indeed supported healthy lunch options through the years that Ds have opposed, and vice versa, and the latest argument had to do with a Biden plan. That argument revolved around whole vs fat-free milk. It's almost like the parties oppose one another no matter what.

Side note: Some of the organizations listed as supporting the Ds position there also said men with dicks were absolutely female. I don't have a dog in the milk fight, but did want to point out that when you play politics instead of science, it can severely hurt your credibility on other issues.

Anyway, the milk thing is such a great example of how inept our government is and how cultists get stuck arguing about minutia while the real issues go ignored. Speaking of...

No argument, but there's also truth in other things he says, so I get annoyed when people on the left dismiss everything he says just because he's on the right.

For example, the vast majority of processed food provided to Americans has very negative health effects, and that's not wrong just because Kennedy works for Trump. Sure, getting the milk right for school lunches should be done, but when all the children's other meals are heavily processed foods that only technically qualify as food...

Are they both food?

Milk - Skim is garbage.

Good news, Democrats also oppose all the processed food stuff. But, oh right, Republicans keep cutting school budgets, so they can only afford garbage food.

I think the point of my original post was that Crumbl is, in fact, not food. :)

You sided with the Rs on that one.
TheCatt wrote: Mon Apr 13, 2026 12:31 pmA few.
Processed foods being horrible is one of them.

I strongly doubt either party really has a strong opinion either way about processed foods. Congresspeople do not live in the same world as the rest of us. They don't eat fast food. Except POTUS of course, which c'mon, he's exhibit A that it's bad for you!

Also, when has school food ever been good quality? You're telling me if we sold that square pizza to the public, we could compete with the major chains? I'm making a joke, but how has no pizza place ever tried selling a "nostalgia" sheet pizza just as a gimmick?

Since the overwhelming majority of school administrators are all Ds, maybe they can reduce their 6 and 7 (DON'T DO IT!!!) figure salaries and put that money into the schools?

What are the odds the exact square pizza we used to eat, is as good to us today as it was back then?

Follow up, what are the odds you have one on your plate in front of you, you are brave enough to actually eat it?

I would do it. I will destroy that nostalgia.

I would eat it too. And Catt's right, it would absolutely kill our memories.
