I celebrated by staying up too late with family and a few others, then oversleeping my pain meds. It is a painful way to start the year!

I forget you were still gimpy. Stop being such a pussy. Just rub some dirt on it and get back in there! (Name the movie.)

Had to google it. Red dawn? Never seen it, believe it or not.

3 months to recover. In an arm sling for now.

Im guessing Bull Durham, or Major League. BD is my first guess.

I have to assume it was being that I didn't die? It's lingering, but I'm functional.

I've had it twice. First time was a really, really bad flu. 102 fever for 5 days, aches pains, etc. kinda delirious

2nd was much milder

Influenza A is what's kicking the country's ass right now, at least in this area.

My wife says her hospital is overflowing with IA patients and nurses are out with it too. My boss has had it for the last week and a half.

Your wife owns a hospital?

I wish.

Yeah, huge flu bump the past week or two. Got my shot, so hopefully it works.
