Event Horizon

So the other day I saw a YouTube video comparing the sizes of space ships in fiction, and it listed the Event Horizon at 2 KM long. This seemed VERY wrong to me.
I mentioned it to the kid, and he supplied me with a blueprint-type graphic that agreed with the video.
I've seen that movie at least a dozen times... according to the schematic, the neck alone was like a KM long. In the internal-neck-scenes in the movie, it wasn't that long.
Am I wrong, and just trippin?
