St. Patrick's Day horror film.
Long story short: It's Invasion of the Body Snatchers mixed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
This is more of a teen film than anything. It does not take itself seriously at all. The main character talks to the camera, there's a subplot about two girls' friendship, it clearly would have a PG-13 rating, etc.
It wasn't a shitty film, but it isn't good enough to traverse demographics.
Meh.
