In anticipation of WL2, I dusted this for the umpteenth time since '88. Except this time I decided to add a couple additional handicaps.
1) Use the premade PCs.
2) Use hand-to-hand combat whenever possible.
3) NPCs are available for mule purposes only, not for attacking unless dire need is present.
If you haven't played this, it's like Mad Max meets "The Bard's Tale." If you don't know what the latter is, then ... jeebus, I can't help you.
Made it through 99% of the battles without using guns, including the entirety of Guardian's Citadel. The vast majority of gun-time was full auto to blast things punching way harder than me, particularly in Vegas. That's about as good as anyone can do. There are a few places where your armour isn't standing up to the punishment if the random number generator tosses too many creatures your way.
In other news, I may have helped hunt down a bug on the inXile forums for the new version of the game, so woohoo.
