I hope your holidays are going better than mine. My oldest daughter and I have been stricken with influenza A. Makes the holidays more fun. I swear I sweated out 3 gallons of water overnight.

Doing the family rounds in NC since Saturday. Every god dang household we go to has someone sick. A kid, a family member, randoms on a plane. Plague carrying bastards.

Our oldest is sick, now that you mention it. But it's just a cold. Congestion, fever, etc.

No. I typically do, but somehow I missed it this year.

I'm sick since the middle of the night. Family Xmas was last night.

Spent all day yesterday sleeping, mostly.

I guess the good aspect of it is that whatever weight I gained on the road to and from Georgia, I lost it all yesterday.

Three days and I've had two cans of soup. Forcing myself to eat some leftovers from X-Mas as I think lack of food is giving me headaches.

Supposed to attend a bourbon tasting party tomorrow night, and I cannot think of anything that sounds less pleasant right now.

But I am on the road to recovery! Body aches and fever are gone and I coughed up most of the flem this morning.

Mine came and went in about 24 hours.

I had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich this morning, because that sounded good. Managed to eat about half of it.

All I ate yesterday was 2 dinner rolls, and last night a chocolate protein shake.

Well. At least we aren't talking about poop.

Subject change? Because there was plenty to talk about, at first.

Merry Christmas from the ER. Had some weird abdomen pain and decided to get it checked out around midnight.

Results are in - appendicitis. Will be in The OR later today.

Worse than coal.
