Surrender at 20 is a good site for LoL news. Mainly they put all the Riot news and red posts into one place.
LoL Nexus - Use this site to look up the ranks of who you're currently playing against.
LoL King - A good site to look up yourself and other players to see detailed stats on their history, ranking, champs played, etc.
