Chief Cassandra Deck-Brown said at a news conference Saturday that no one was in custody, nor was anyone wounded.

She said people heard what sounded like gunshots and investigators are examining all possibilities. She said no shell casings were found by late afternoon.

WTF? All this chaos---the only injuries were from the mob stampede---people were locked in stores for hours---and just over what amounts to noise.

Kind of funny how they worry about things turning into the wild west with conceal carry. I think the wild west might be an improvement to this.

"Ever" is pretty strong. It does appear to be the physical equivalent of "zero tolerance" which means "for the love of god, don't think about it for a second."

"Why are we all still in here when no one heard anything after the first shots?"

"Shut the fuck up, that kind of talk will get us killed. Continue cowering in your corner until the babysitters arrive. You are powerless against the forces outside that door."
