This is a movie about Walt Disney trying to get author P.L. Travers to sign over the film rights to make Mary Poppins. Tom Hanks as Disney and Emma Watson as Travers.

It's pretty good, if you like that sort of thing, and especially if you're a Disney fan. Sort of reminded me of The King's Speech in that it was a simple story about a single thing in a certain time. Not everything needs to be epic and sprawling.

I heard that they kind of sugar coated the entire thing. But I don't think Disney would make a film showing that Walt didn't really give a shit about what she thought about what he was doing with her intellectual property. Not saying that this wouldn't be a good movie. Just think it might be about as Disneyfied an account of history as the movie (Poppins) was a Disneyfied account of her book.

It was good.

It was also mostly misleading, as Vince says.
