Synopsis:
Some local honkies and pigs are giving Fred Williamson's bar and his patrons some trouble. He calls in a few old friends to help clear them out and learns that they've become real assholes.
Review:
The first half is every blaxpoitation movie you've ever seen condensed to 45 minutes. Whitey fucks with Fred, Fred calls friends who promptly execute every one of them. The bit that makes this an usual period piece is what happens after that. Fred's old gang buddies realize they can take over the racket the pigs were running and drain the town dry. One eventually tries to rape Pam Grier, who waits tables at Fred's bar/is fucking Fred. After that, Fred contributes to the bar on the right of the graph.
Verdict:
It's not Shaft or Superfly, but it's not bad for a low-budget mid '70s action movie.
