No spoilers, violators will be prosecuted.
This movie didn't release until today, but my wife got a pair of preview tickets.
Matt Damon and Heath Ledger are brothers who fight down evilness, witches, ghosts....etc.

The movie takes place in the early 1800s. It tries so hard to play fun with every fable, story, or other wives tail it can get its hands on, a-la Shrek. It doesn't succeed quite as well. It was a good movie, but the fact that A. Shrek had been done, B. Shrek did it better, and C. The Brothers Grimm was supposed to take place in the real world really hurt the humor attempts.

Also, it tried to be everything and ended up being almost nothing. It was part comedy, part horror, part mystery, and part adventure. Now, don't get me wrong, it's an ok way to waste a couple of hours and I do recommend seeing it, just don't expect to see this winning any awards.

6.5 out of 10.

As stated above, Damon and Ledger get roped into dealing with missing children in Germany during the French occupation.

Agree with everything mbilderback says above. This film has no identity. Hell, it can't even resolve the love interest story line. (The ending was a complete mess and a direct result of the lack of resolution for the love interest story line.)

It's honestly not a very good film, which I assumed going in considering the stars and the lack of buzz.

If you've never seen it, you don't need to bother.
