Judging by one of these screenshots, they are going for an R rating.

I enjoyed it.
Lots of action and some amazing visuals, but I can see where it would leave people unfamiliar with Dredd a bit lost.
The story has Dredd bringing along a new Judge, that also happens to be a psychic, to a megablock in response to a triple homicide. Bad guy is on the top floor, Dredd is at the bottom. Queue the fun.
6 out of 10.

I liked it better than the original. I especially liked the way it was ultimately "a day in the life" sort of story, and the implications that has for what the setting is like and the potential of future movies.
I bet Karl was spitting out bits of scenery for weeks after that performance.

He was pretty awesome as Dredd. Although, I kept thinking, "That's Bones under that helmet" the whole movie.

I liked it better than the original.
I look at the Judge Dredd with Stallone the same way I look at the Punisher with Dolph. Like a bad acid trip.

Liked it more than I thought I would. Loved Urban's perpetual, DEEP frown. He must have had to practice that. Although, he seemed perpetually pissed off as Eomer, too, so maybe he didn't need to practice long.
Also, Yay! Netflix.

It's official: Dredd is the greatest movie ever.

I was voting for Dredd way before it was cool, too. At the beginning it was honest, but by the middle it was trolling because peeps were getting so upset.

You look at the other 15, and even wonder how Dredd ended up in the same competition.

Oh, that's just silly.

Exactly.
it's like those people who vote for the worst singer on American Idol.

Here's Dredd's "Make a Sequel" facebook page. Lots of good play-by-play there as that amazon bracket played out.
Also a video of Karl Urban thanking the fans of that page.

Watching Urban in this and Almost Human, he's starting to remind me of Clint Eastwood. That perma-scowl but can pull off a dry humor through it.

SPoiler or whatever:
Dredd and his psychic rookie catch a perp and are transporting him.
Psychic rookie: He's thinking about going for your gun.
Dredd: Yeah.
Psychic rookie: He changed his mind.
Dredd: Yep.

That was definitely one of those moments that reminded me of Clint.

No Dredd 2.
Yeah, but that's right now.
Give it 10-15 years and they'll be making another one.
