The 40-Year-Old-Virgin plays an old school Vegas headlining musician, and when a Criss Angel-style street magician starts evolving the industry and takes his fans away, he has kind of an existential crisis and has to pull his head out of his ass.

I had expected cynical and zany, but it ended up being better than that. Don't go out of your way too far to see it, but it's worth a watch.

I second this opinion. A fairly fun movie. It's got a little bit of the over-the-top stupid that sometimes passes as humor these days, but not too much of it. Worth watching if it comes your way.

I just watched it but I still can't remember where in the movie that was nor who said it. Hmm.

Was it ... the puppy?

I'm seeing Jim Carey doing the line, and he's in a lot of pain, but maybe I dreamed that.

Very eh. Steve Buscemi and Olivia Wilde could have been replaced by their $10 counterparts and the flick wouldn't have suffered. I did get a small flashback to Fire Marshall Bill during one of Jim Carrey's tricks.
