Full list of winners at the Academy Awards.

Razzies winners.

I told you Sex Tape is really stupid.

To be fair to Kirk Cameron, if they paid attention to what SyFy churns out, I'm not sure anyone else would even get nominated for an award...

I laughed when I saw "The Legend of Hercules" in Worst Film, Worst Remake Sequel or Ripoff, Worst Director, Worst Actor, Worst Actress, and Worst Screen Combo in what seems like a direct shot at the star's physique.

Here's the Lady Gaga Sound of Music thing people are talking about:

Peeps who got snubbed in the "In Memoriam":
-Joan Rivers
-Richard Kiel
-Taylor Negron
-Elaine Stritch
-Jan Hooks

Under "Winner: Just Being Nominated" in this article, it's pointed out that this is the lowest grossing "Best Picture" group ever. It's also pointed out how Best Picture nominees and winners typically are from films that don't do shit at the box office (which is proof that the whole process is broken). More interesting is the huge financial boost being nominated gives you.

Movies about movies tend to do well.

The Glory performance peeps are talking about:

Jesus christ, that vid was just the speech, not the performance.

Ha! Sorry, I quick linked one of the articles. I fixed it so it's just the video from YouTube. I'll do the same with the Glory one.

She's a pretty good singer.

Peeps who got snubbed in the "In Memoriam": ... Richard Kiel

Epic bullshit. He did better acting in ridiculous throwaway Bond villain scenes, chomping comically through carbon steel, than most leads nowadays manage after ninety minutes of predictable drivel.

I was quite impressed with the bit I listened to of her. Not a big fan of hers, but impressed never the less.

Sean Penn pisses off Hispanics.

The director in question had this to say about it during his speech:
“I want to dedicate this award for my fellow Mexicans, the ones who live in Mexico. I pray that we can find and build a government that we deserve,” he said. “And the ones that live in this country, who are a part of the latest generation of immigrants in this country, I just pray that they can be treated with the same dignity and respect as the ones who came before and built this incredible immigrant nation.”

Sean Penn's a dipshit, and his comment was stupid. If it was a joke between friends it should have been done in private.

That being said, I'm more offended by the director's quote. That's like standing in front of the wreckage of the Hindenburg and discussing its features while never mentioning the fire.
