Michael Bay confirms it.

None of the actors will be returning.

I never saw T3.

The Rock is smarter than Kelsey Grammer.

I don't know if smarter is the right word.

The Rock is in hit movies right now, has offers galore, and even has wrestling to fall back on.

Grammer has just left two failed TV shows, and has zero movies.

And why didn't you say The Rock is smarter than Mark Wahlberg? He's the one who took the role The Rock turned down.

Seeing Frasier do Michael Bay is somehow more disappointing than seeing Marky Mark agree to do it.

Hollywood is filled with "good" actors doing shit roles for a payday or just to be in something someone will see.

"When asked about his participation in 'JAWS : The Revenge', Michael Caine famously replied 'I have never seen the film, but by all accounts it was terrible.
However I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific."

I have no problem with good actors being in bad films for the money.

What's sad is when they honestly believe it will be a good movie, when to everyone outside of Hollywood it's obvious that it's going to be a disaster. When they start to confuse money for quality.

Trailer.

Looks... different. Mark Walberg seems to be using the same acting skill he delighted us with in The Happening.

Wahlberg gives press conference while delirious.
Mark said he was feeling nervous about the prospect of stepping into the shoes of previous transformers leading men Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson.

But he said he "had to jump at the opportunity because I really feel like it is probably the most iconic franchise in movie history".

I can't wait to hear the podcast of them coming up with this comic.

Is their podcast worth it? How long is each episode?

Are they doing another Strip Search?

The podcast is basically identical to the "4th Panel" episodes of this series, like for example this episode. If you like those episodes you'll probably also like the podcast. It's essentially them bullshitting and brainstorming and at the end of it they come up with a comic strip. But I enjoy listening to them make the journey.

They typically run around a half hour, I think. Maybe a bit more sometimes.

Oh, and I've heard rumors about another Strip Search in the works, but I don't recall any official confirmation yet.

Movie wasn't bad for what it is. The same as it always is... an action special effects porn with just enough story to have the "human element".

Certainly better than the 2nd one, and I'd say probably better than the 3rd one as well.

Saw the first one. Almost walked out. Could barely tell which non-Optimus bots were smashing into other non-Optimus bots.
