I had to do the thread title in all caps because look at this cast:
The film stars Stallone, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Eric Roberts, Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Charisma Carpenter, Giselle Itie, Brittany Murphy, David Zayas and Amin Joseph. Stallone directed from a script he wrote.

Sylvester Stallone's upcoming action epic, The Expendables, has just added another 80s era action star to their team. Bruce Willis has confirmed the cameo rumors to MTV that he will be appearing alongside Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger to shoot a special scene.

I don't even want to know the plot. I'm fuckin seeing it, that's it. I don't even care.

In this case, I'd vote Adam West. Or Jim Brown or someone like that.

If Dolph is there, they should have gotten Van Damme and Snipes.

What about that Brian dude (I think that was his name) that was a huge football star in college, then flopped in the NFL and did a couple movies? He should be in it too.

Brian Bosworth

He had that one film that was remotely decent "Stone Cold". Part of it was filmed at Keesler AFB right after I left.

How can you leave Snipes out of the asshole discussion? He's a total asshole. He got his break with "Major League", but wouldn't do the sequel as he thought he should be paid a ridiculous amount of money. Him being an asshole was talked about on the sets of all his films.

Van Damme is most likely an asshole, but I think it was more a case of him being an idiot who was way too overconfident in his own abilities. Remember when he got his ass kicked by Chuck Zito?

Speaking of Van Damme, has anyone seen "JCVD"? I'm hearing incredible things about it. You might want to sit down for this, but Time claims Van Damme should get an Oscar for it. Seriously.

I forgot all about Seagal. Now THAT is an asshole. He smacked around Kelli LeBrock and claims to be some sort of spiritualist. Still, "Above the Law" was a kick ass film. "Hard to Kill" was great too, but a little bit cheesy. "Under Siege" is probably what he's best known for. Although, I'll give Seagal credit for his role in..."Executive Decision"? The one where he died in the first 5 minutes. It took some humility to accept that role.

It's something about the Belgian in him. Wesley & Steven ain't winning any "nice dude" awards, but, I don't know, Van Damme just pisses me off more than either of those two. Even w\ Seagal's "music" album.

How about Rutger Hauer?

I nominate this flick as a good reason for everyone to come to Toledo for a DTMan gathering. Some of you really need the testosterone infusion this movie is going to give.

Still needs more Walken.

Should have gotten him to play the villain.

Why Van Damme isn't in the film.

I was wondering about why he wasn't cast.

What an egotistical douche.
