Ben Stiller is a photo processor at Life magazine and he day dreams a lot. (He's basically JD from Scrubs.)
Life gets bought and is being closed, but he has to find a certain photo for the final cover. So he leaves his empty life behind to go on an adventure to find the photographer, and learns to live.
I just basically told you the whole movie, and honestly, I think that's what killed this movie's earning potential. Nobody knew what the fuck it was about. I thought it was like Forrest Gump or something.
The acting is decent, the cinematography is amazing, it's well cast and well directed, etc. I just don't think it's too interesting.
The whole movie is just one big motivation speech. "If you don't like your life, it's never too late to change it, but you have to actually do something."
It's a movie you can watch with the family.
I don't hate that I saw it, especially since it was free, but I'd never watch it again.
