Leatherface

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Another reboot.

This series has been remade and rebooted so many fucking times I don't understand why they can't lay off of it for a decade.

They keep making money. Horror films are pretty cheap to make. As long as they keep making money, they'll keep rebooting them.

It's the #1 genre in terms of making money. My problem with it is give us something new for 10 years, then remake something.

The last TCM reboot was 3 years ago?

Maybe it's because the story line doesn't lend itself to 10-12 variations on the same theme the way Halloween and Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street did? I mean, how many ways can you have a group of teens stumble upon the back woods inbreeds before it starts feeling repetitive? At least with a reboot you can PRETEND you're doing something "fresh" with it.
