Franco, Rogen, Robinson, Hill, McBride, and some other young Hollywood types are enjoying a party at Franco's house when the end of the world takes place.
This movie seems to be nothing more than a circle jerk between friends. It's like a studio owed them a favor, and they just made something to have fun.
The story is ass, as is the acting, but there's some entertainment here. Most is childish humor, like all the dicks, but if you're fans of the actors you'll enjoy them tearing themselves apart. Every one of them is mocked for their careers and for their public reputation. For example:
-Franco's link to Rogen is spelled out in, not at all subtle, homosexual undertones.
-Rogen's lack of roles that aren't exactly the same.
-Hill being "America's Sweetheart"
-McBride being a crazy asshole
-Robinson...well, I don't think he took a lot of shit.
What they do with Michael Cera is hilarious. You've never seen him like this before.
It's worth a viewing, particularly if you're under the influence, but it is by no means a classic.
