Some other time I linked a site that said 25% of the population had some diagnosable mental illness.
That seems low. There's no way in hell it's below 50%.

I bet severe stupidity would look like mental illness to a layman, so who knows.

I'm not counting that. There's a somewhat easy line to draw there, and we already have diagnoses like dyslexia and dysgraphia. I even submit someone without medical training can discern the difference.
Tell me, G, is your MiL merely stupid and inconsiderate or mentally off the rails?

And those pictures are so huge I can't even read them trying to scroll side to side because by the time I get to the right side I forgot what the left side said.

I have a bunch of relatives constantly sharing things on facebook from liberal sites about how evil and stupid you are if you don't like Hillary. I keep hitting "Hide all posts from *liberal site X*" and they keep finding new sites to share.
One of the cuter ones was, "I only repost things from liberal sites so that other poor liberals know they aren't alone."
Yeah, that's a problem they have.

My feed is mostly Bernie for whatever reason.
