Bolivia on board, too. Maybe Nicaragua.
Also, State Department unsure what "bullying" means.
A day after authorities in Ecuador said they would not bow to U.S. pressure as they weigh Snowden's request for asylum, State Department spokesman Patrick Ventrell denied any "bullying" tactics had been used.
"The point is just that we are making a consistent point to any government that might take him as a final destination that this is somebody wanted on serious felony charges and we would like him returned to the United States," Ventrell told reporters Friday in response to a question from CNN's Jill Dougherty.
He was referring to his warning Thursday that Ecuador's economic ties with the United States could be jeopardized.
"What would not be a good thing is them granting Mr. Snowden asylum," Ventrell had said. "That would have grave difficulties for a bilateral relationship."
Yeah, that doesn't sound like a thinly veiled threat.

What was the wording from the White House to journalists who asked the wrong questions? They would "regret it?"

It's not bullying; it's just a threat of economic, political, or physical force to encourage them to reflect and see things our way.

He said before he wasn't going to "wheel and deal and horse trade" with other countries about getting him back.
My answer to that was, "Yes, because wheeling and dealing with other countries is called 'diplomacy,' and there is no way he's going to start doing that, now."

Interesting details about the potential flight plans in that article. Am I the only one that thought "if he does take the option of a private flight over the Pacific rather than flying commercial, I wonder if that would make it a certainty that there will be an 'accident' en route."

Asylum application filed. Temporary, for Russia. Presumably just so he can get out and go somewhere permanently.

U.S. bill threatens countries trying to offer him aid.
“I don’t know if he’s getting a change of clothes. I don’t know if he’s going to stay in Russia forever. I don’t know where he’s going to go,” [Sen. Lindsey] Graham [R-S.C.] said. “But I know this: That the right thing to do is to send him back home so he can face charges for the crimes he’s allegedly committed.”
Go fuck yourself. Every time a member of the U.S. gov't opens their mouth about this, I'm pushed more and more towards taking Eddie's side.

“PFC Manning harmed our national security, violated the public’s trust, and now stands convicted of multiple serious crimes,” they [Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., and Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger, D-Md.] said in a joint statement. “There is still much work to be done to reduce the ability of criminals like Bradley Manning and Edward Snowden to harm our national security.”
1. Nothing violates public trust like your national security secrets.
2. Everyone in Congress is 1000 times the criminal this dude is.

Dog was recently arrested and released by Mexican authorities for illegally bounty hunting outside of US territory.
If the Mexican authorities catch you, the Russians would probably just shoot you.
