Upgrade QuickReply to the latest version, but it's still not working right.

The feature I miss most is being able to highlight text in a post, and automatically quote + insert that into a quick reply. oh well. that extension isn't updated any more.

I found an extension that does it. Life is good again.

The SSL "site is not secure" errors have disappeared. I have no idea why.

The only issue I've noticed so far is quoting directly from posts is no longer giving me the option to quote the person. The button in the corner still works, but I used to be able to highlight text and a small option would pop up to quote the person. I'm sure that's an issue with the new version.

That definitely exists. I just did it for this post. Should be a little button that pops up with "Quote" in red, and then starting quotation marks. It's a little wonky, but mostly works.

The only thing I've noticed is that sometimes if you highlight an entire line, it doesn't popup.

Yeah, that way works, but do a "Post Reply" and then scroll down and try to highlight something from my post.

Interesting, I literally never click "Post Reply"

I've never clicked "Post Reply" to make a post. I have always used the quick reply option.

I use quick replay sometime, but I like Post Reply's access to features better.

Also, I can still use the quotes in Post Reply, but I used to be able to highlight text using it, and that's gone. No biggie.

If you click Post Reply, then highlight the text and press the " button on that post, it works.

It might bitch, but it's phenomenal.

It's just a bit more effort to do the quotes the new way.

Also, have you noticed you cannot just click into the text box and hit URL for the tags to show up anymore? It's still easy to add a link, it just has a slightly different method.

QuickReply is supposed to have formatting buttons, per a plugin we have installed, but they aren;'t there for me. Anyone?

OK, they are back. Turns out a disabled extension was still causing a conflict.
