They were okay, but they didn't seem like House episodes, really. At all. Some sort of soap opera has taken over the time slot.

They were pulling that shyte last season. When it became the 13-Foreman show, it got way less interesting.

Which part, House and Cuddy? Could have been a hallucination brought on by going back on the drugs (with the not having taken them also being part of it). Or not. We won't find out for sure until season 7.

Yeah, that bit. It damn well better'd be a hallucination. Otherwise, season 7's going to suck. Any word on it being the last one? The show's ratings have taken a bit of a tumble.

Started watching the episodes, I stopped in the middle of season 4 because an episode got preempted by the super bowl (more like super bowel, amirite?) and I never got around to torrenting it and then I didn't want to skip an episode then I got behind.

But now they are on netflix so it is easy.

So catching up on my House.

In one episode he says, "It is what it is." I think I remember Thib saying he hated that phrase.

The stuff with House in the mental institution were a nice change of pace. I hope there are no more seasons like the one with the evil cop or the evil hospital administrator. I hate seasons of shows like that.

The only thing was Taub taking credit for Kutner's idea at the end of the previous ep. Don't know if they're going anywhere with that or not.
Hey I just watched that episode like 3 days ago.

So who made it to the end?

The last two seasons were shit. The finale was worse.

Yeah, can't say I was blown away by the finale.

Consider spoilers beyond this point:

What's the deal with Lisa Edelstein... did she leave on bad terms or something? Cuddy wouldn't even come to speak at his funeral?

House massively pissed off Cuddy. You miss that bit?

She didn't strike me as a kind of person that would stay angry at him even after he was dead, though. The characters were in love with each other for over 20 years. A moving speech from her at his funeral could have possibly pulled the finale out of "meh" territory.

Anyway, some googling said there were some pay cuts in the cast the last season, and she wouldn't accept any. Too bad she couldn't help close out the show, she was a huge part of it. That show was the dynamic between House, Cuddy, and Wilson.

It's funny after watching House how often you now notice Wilson in other older stuff.

I waited the entire series for a Dead Poet's Society reference. They finally snuck it in at the end.

I like how you go back to the first season and his shirts are too big for his skinny neck. It's funny how some of these actors put on a few pounds when they start getting a regular paycheck and are eating regular.

So who made it to the end?

I did, but I haven't seen it since it was new and can't remember anything anymore.

House died? I don't remember that, for example, and that seems important.

No, he faked it.

One thing is for sure.... my October House Binge has me looking 3 layers deep into everything, medical and otherwise. Since my life isn't about finding underlying reasons for shit, however, it all amounts to unhealthy paranoia.

"Yeah, you don't want to have chicken for dinner, but what is the REAL reason, why are you trying to conceal the real reason, and what does that say about your outlook on life?"

Also, 3 absolutes in House world:
1. Yellow eyes = liver failure
2. Blood in urine = kidney problems
3. It is never Lupus.

I remember one time when it was Lupus.
