This kind of irritates me. GFY, English robot guy. You no longer get to have an opinion about American leadership.

I've been saying for a long time, "You couldn't have had a Reagan without a Carter, first," in speculating what we'd get after Obama. Now we are seeing.

Lyin' Don Trump and his third-rate University of Phoenix knockoff.
The script noted that many of the potential customers will be concerned about how much money this would cost them. Enrollment counselors were instructed to tell them that "most students use established lines of credit, like a credit card ... to handle their tuition fees" and add "keep in mind you'll be working with our experts to become profitable in the shortest amount of time."
Seems like an honest pitch.

The f word breaks out.
"Based upon my personal experience and employment, I believe that Trump University was a fraudulent scheme, and that it preyed upon the elderly and uneducated to separate them from their money," Ronald Schnackenberg, a Trump University sales manager from 2006-2007, said in his testimony.
...
Jason Nicholas, a sales executive at the university from May through October of 2007, said he felt the courses "did not provide a legitimate real-estate education" and Trump University was "just selling false hopes and lies."
Let me know what it's like voting for the honest, evil prick as opposed to the ones that lie to you just to take your money.
Schnackenberg testified that "the primary goal of Trump University was not to educate students regarding real estate investing. The primary focus seemed to make money, as quickly and easily as possible."

Both recalled what Schnackenberg described as a "scheme involving a constant upsell."
Sweet, sweet honesty.

Now that Jane Goodall's comments make Trump's less stupid, has he earned your vote?

What comments? Nothing could possibly make Trump look less stupid. That's like making the ocean less wet.

Answer: California, New York, and Texas. Question: Name the three biggest states in terms of electoral votes who have called fraud on Trump U.
But in Texas, "to become licensed as a real estate broker you must have 900 hours of classroom instruction and 2 years selling experience,” Berlin said, in the memo the Democratic super PAC American Bridge 21st Century uncovered through a public records request and provided to USA TODAY. The information given to students by Trump University “is essentially unusable,” and students “will be unable to recoup their investment in the course, much less make a profit, as promised by Trump U,” Berlin wrote.
They respond by packing up and leaving.
In an email this week, AG spokeswoman Teresa Farfan told USA TODAY that after the office opened its probe, “we understand they left Texas.”
Trump University did not promise, nor was its curriculum designed to teach students to become a real estate broker...
Sure.
How would you like to work with Donald Trump’s Real Estate Experts? This is not something we offer to just anyone
...
You know who my boss is right? Mr. Trump is on a mission to create the next wave of independently wealthy entrepreneurs in America. Is that YOU
How could someone mistake that for real estate training? But it gets better. After fleecing people for as much cash as possible, Donald "The Ambulatory Asshole" Trump then blames their lack of commitment and drive for their failure:
Trump general counsel Alan Garten said that Trump University had a very generous refund policy, with students allowed to seek refunds within three days of signing up, or at the end of their first day in a course. He said the plaintiffs, not Trump University, were the cause for their own disappointment.

“When get into the classes, they found it was far more involved, and required far more dedication and commitment they were willing to give,” he said.
But perhaps these are just the malcontents.
On Wednesday, Trump's campaign posted a video of three people identified as former Trump University students speaking about how pleased they were with the program.
See, someone genuinely liked it.
But USA TODAY discovered that the participants in the video all had other ties to Trump, including one whose company makes a protein drink that Trump is selling at several of his properties.

Trump's view of the legal system reminds me of Nixon's. "It's not illegal if I do it."
In an interview, Mr. Trump said U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel had “an absolute conflict” in presiding over the litigation given that he was “of Mexican heritage” and a member of a Latino lawyers’ association.....The New York businessman also alleged the judge was a former colleague and friend of one of the Trump University plaintiffs’ lawyers. The judge and the lawyer once worked together as federal prosecutors, but the lawyer, Jason Forge, in an interview said he had never seen the judge socially.
...
In fact, Trump's comments may reveal more about Trump than they do the way the judicial system functions. Trump, the American-born son of a Scottish immigrant, does not believe the American-born son of Mexican immigrants is capable of ruling on his case in a way that is consistent with the law.
Yeah, this is totally the dude who's for the average, middle-class guy. This is entering Jesse Jackson territory.

To be fair to Nixon, I don't think the stuff he did concerning the AG was illegal (at the time) as much as just unethical and slimy.

I take it back. Even Nixon wasn't stupid enough to imply that anyone he insulted personally or as part of a group was incapable of reaching a fair decision.
Mr. Trump has called Judge Curiel, who was born in Indiana to Mexican immigrants, a “Mexican” and said he has a “conflict of interest” in the case because of Mr. Trump’s proposed border wall with Mexico.

Mr. Dickerson asked Mr. Trump if, in his view, a Muslim judge would be similarly biased because of the Republican presumptive nominee’s call for a ban on Muslim immigrants. “It’s possible, yes,” Mr. Trump said. “Yeah. That would be possible. Absolutely.”
Trump legal theory:

"That judge is a fucking asshole! There, now you have to replace him. He's got a conflict of interest because I called him an asshole."

Tiny Trump is so insufferable, BuzzFeed won't take his money.

Ben Stein, noted crackpot left-wing actor and in no way a former Republican speechwriter, says Trump is dumber than a post.
Stein told The Guardian newspaper recently that he doesn't think the GOP presidential front-runner "knows a goddamn thing about economics." He said Trump's stance against free trade could lead to a trade war, and that Trump "is not a great businessman" and even if he was, "that doesn't mean he would be a great steward of the U.S. economy."
Finally, to cap things, he pulls a Costanza.
At a campaign rally Friday in Redding, California, Donald Trump took a moment to point at a random black man in the audience and yell, "Look at my African American over here! Look at him!"

It was a cringeworthy attempt to show his presidential campaign had at least one black supporter — despite being rife with racist overtones and facing low support among black voters
...
"I am not a Trump supporter," Gregory Cheadle told NPR on Sunday. "I am a free man. I am not chained to any particular party, and I refuse to be chained to any particular party."

Dickless backpedals like a common bitch as he tries to put the brakes on a GOP mutiny.
"I do not feel that one’s heritage makes them incapable of being impartial," Trump said, "but, based on the rulings that I have received in the Trump University civil case, I feel justified in questioning whether I am receiving a fair trial."
Yeah, it's easy to see how one can misinterpret this...
In an interview, Mr. Trump said U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel had “an absolute conflict” in presiding over the litigation given that he was “of Mexican heritage” and a member of a Latino lawyers’ association
... as saying one's race precludes one from being fair, given that it refers to your belief the judge's race precluded him from being fair. I'd quote the actual interview but fuck the WSJ's stone age "subscribe or don't read it" policy. Go die like all the other dinosaur media twats, WSJ.

It's weird because the judge actually put the trial off until after the election for Trump so it wouldn't be a burden during the election cycle, and Trump's own attorney hasn't made a motion for the judge to recuse himself. So apparently his own lawyer doesn't agree with him.

Because it's become fun to defend some of his lunacies...

He's not entirely wrong.
"We need judges who understand violence against women. Judge Persky does not. He should be replaced. Hopefully a qualified woman will replace him," said Stanford Law Professor Michele Dauber in an email to NPR.
There's a law professor saying someone's sex determines their ability to fairly judge a case because it had to do with violence against women. Please show me the MSM outrage over her comments. I'll wait...

Now go back to OJ's trail and do some research. Weird how the prosecutors took a lot of heat over jury selection because they didn't eliminate more black jurors.

It's almost like no matter what dipshit Trump says the MSM and the left will make it into a major issue.

Does nobody remember what they did to that other dipshit Palin? They, literally, tore apart her credentials to be a vice president despite her being the governor of Alaska, while their favorite for president had been a community organizer.

Yeah, from Stanford. They still drag their knuckles on the ground over there when they walk. Furthermore, her saying this doesn't excuse Donnie Dickmonger ... who is theoretically capable of sliming his way into one of the most powerful jobs on the planet. At least the bitch you're quoting only fucks up people in her classroom.

I'll say it again: I've got no sympathy for her, she was godawful in a way that makes Hillary look positively competent by comparison. A CG polar bear from the Coca-Cola ads would've been a better VP choice.
It's almost like no matter what dipshit Trump says the MSM and the left will make it into a major issue.
That's his plan. He's Trump the Troll. It's all he knows how to do.

All because MSM is crazyass whackjobbing it up doesn't make Trump any less crazyass. Crazyass is not a zero sum game. And of course the left makes it into a major issue because that is the entire purpose of the left and the right now, to publicly make a major issue of anything and everything done or said by the other side regardless of content and ignoring any and all of their own hypocrisy in the process.

You know all of this. You're just playing dumb and pretending that these are some sort of notable points as some sort of performance art, right?

I believed it was ridiculously obvious what I'm doing.

It's been fun defending him against a zealot by pointing out that stuff he's doing and saying isn't unique to his idiocy.
