Drunken boating with Stranger is definitely a go.
I didn't get the "rowboat" quest as an elf. Got it early on the human quest line though.
You can build it at the carpenter workbench instead for 10 planks (2 -3 gold worth) with no skill reqs. (under machining)
I think you get it as an elf at some point, but i didn't feel like going to search.

I've seen these inland a lot too, you can harpoon anything and travel like a giant slow no legged spider.
Are supposed to be wicked fast over water, though.

You (Stranger) and Troy need to make that call. Well, I guess Troy most of all. He's the one with the most to lose. I don't mind waiting things out. But at the same time, if trying a land grab on another server is something we want to try, I'm game.
I guess it doesn't hurt to try. I'd need to find out what it takes to get Patron status when the time comes. If I have a house/farm that I want to place, and there's land for it, then I'll grab patron status. Totally up for fully committing to this game. Just can't right now, as we all know. But if we see a window and want to go for it, consider me in.
Although, UO is fun right now.

We've added two new worlds to our North American server list: Ezi (NA) and Lucius (NA)! These servers were racked (physically installed) and imaged (updated with ArcheAge server software) in our Texas data center all in the past day. Here you can see Ezi and Lucius in their new home with Senior Systems Engineer Jonathan Johnson. These two servers will be on the new Auction House cluster 5 (AH5). These new servers are now online and available to play right now: Friday September 19 at 4:15 PM PDT (GMT-7).
Too crunked to rush Gildar tonight tho
be room for a while and more servers coming
also I would have to add or delete a character

looks like the 2 new servers are up. I logged in this morning and noticed that four of the servers had "restrictions" on all 4 races, that includes Ollo. I'm pretty sure this means they aren't allowing new characters to be made on these servers and we've got a few people that haven't even been able to create a character yet.
The servers are down for maintenance right now, but when they come back up I'm gonna start a new character on the Lucius server just incase we can't get anymore people on Ollo. They have said they are gonna allow free server transfers but they aren't set up to do that yet and who knows how long that will take. Troy would have to delete a character to be able to do the same and if Cake reads this maybe he should think about doing the same. I'll keep posts up and see what the land situation is looking like.

I ran through it again and mailed a house to my guy to throw down near our spot, and took up a big footprint. We have a pretty good area locked up right now in North Two Crowns. We left a ton of room for small farms.
E; Stranger, the chicks you put are vulnerable to uprooters until you complete the house.

Tons of space left. While i'm gone if Two Crowns starts filling up, the really convenient housing zones around Marianpole are probably next.
This isn't like launch day though, very nice organic slow growth

it's about 2/3 English 1/3 Brazlian too

I was able to create a character on Lucius.
Now I'm off to a BBQ. I'll run through quests tonight.
