Good work on the translation Paul, now translate what the two Columbian pilots were saying at the beginning of the toad licking episode of Family Guy. I believe it is called "Let's go to the Hop."

They actually translated what they were saying on screen during the episode, but they did so in what I believe was Japanese.

Assign each letter of the alphabet a number so that 1 is A, 2 is B, etc. up to 26 for Z. Then wrap back to the beginning so that 27 is A again, 28 is B, 29 is C, and so on.

4 + 15 = 19, which is an S.
8 * 8 = 64, which if you reverse the digits is 46, which is a T.
15 * 15 = 125, which is a U.
16 is a P.
23 + 8 + 4 = 35, which is an I.
42 - 8 - 4 = 30, which is a D.

Draw your own conclusions.

If you use the numbers as coordinates, you get:
Latitude: 4.8150
Longitude: 162.3420
CLICK HERE FOR MAP. Zoom out to see Micronesia, and it's relationship to Australia, Asia, N. America, etc.

Note: The link is huge and f's up the BBCode, so I made a little webpage to redirect you to the site.

New coordinates appear a little better.
Here's a Google map, with a line between Sydney and Lost Angeles across the globe.

Wasn't there something about the plane going way off corse before crashing?

If so, it could be any of those ... except maybe the one closest to the line.

You know... at the end of the orientation movie... did it say "Copyright 1991?"

The closest location is 70 miles off course.
The next closest (what I gave first) is 1,500 miles off course.

The pilot said, 1000 miles off course.

In the Dharma orientation film, pay close attention to his left arm/hand.

OK, so chick in the jail was in row 42. Was the black man Rose's husband? Or will he be some other character we meet?

His left arm has the same characteristics that Locke's legs had before the flight.

Heck, it might not even be real. The hand looks a little darker, so it could be fake.

It just hangs at his side, motionless the entire time.

Here's some screencaps I did.

Finally, when he says "Namaste", he doesn't hold both hands together. I think they cut in so it wouldn't be as obvious.

If I speculate on that in this thread Gordon will punish me.

But then the monster ate the pilot.
The monster didn't eat the pilot.

The pilot ended up on one piece.

I don't mind pure speculation based on what we've seen!

I don't want to see stuff from spoiler websites posted here. Pics, scripts, and such that we haven't seen on TV et.

Well I got the joke.

Charlie wrote a new song, and played it for the preg chick... the title of the new song for the new album was, "And then a monster ate the pilot."

Well, I was just speculating from the comment Rose made in season 1 about her husband still being alive.

I remembered that Charlie had said something like that.
I had been going through the screencap archives, and was studying that pic in particular, trying to get a clue about what snatched him.
I used it as an excuse to post a link to the image.

In fact, I was on the Lost image page, and thought, "Didn't someone mention something about this on Gordo's site?" Then I went back and made the post.
