Found this comment online.
Parker and Stone were angered when told by Comedy Central several weeks ago that they could not run an image of Muhammad, according to a person close to the show who didn't want to be identified because of the issue's sensitivity. The network's decision was made over concerns for public safety, the person said. Comedy Central said in a statement issued Thursday: "In light of recent world events, we feel we made the right decision." Its executives would not comment further.
Also the show is already available to download on P2P networks.
What is also dumb is Mohammed has already been on other episodes of South Park.

A line I liked from the episode:
Mr. Garret: "It's illegal to show pictures of the muslim prophet."
Stan: "No, it's illegal for muslims to show pictures of the muslim prophet."
And he is prompty blown off. But hell... in the future we'll all be muslim anyway, so it will be easier to get used to it now.

I remember a history teacher arguing that if the Athenians & Spartans hadn't fought off the Persians waaaay back when, the Western world might be vastly more Muslim than it is.

Any bets on how long it'll be before that blacked out portion is leaked to the internet?
They had me fooled with the T&P opening.
I'm guessing there never was anything there.

I don't know what's more disturbing. Comedy Central deciding not to show the image, or the first comment on that post
FRIST/RICE 2008
Frist can suck my nuts.

Muhammed has already been featured on South Park many times.
And the uncensored version of the show hit the net the same night. I guess we just never discussed it.
It's really tame, which is the point they're trying to make.
I guess Muhammed just shows up and says "hi" and they respond back. That's it. That's what comedy central censored.
Of course, they didn't censor Jesus getting shit on later in the episode.

Yeah, we can't offend Muslims, but Christians are open season. wtf?

Well, as a general rule Christians don't strap on bombs and come blow up your office building when you do.
Not that I'm agreeing with the censorship, mind you. I don't agree with anyone that gives in to that sort of threat.
