I really have no idea what prison is really like.

State joints are always worse than federal in terms of shit the other inmates can probably do to you and get away with.

Prisons aren't fun places, but what makes them most undesirable isn't the prison itself, but rather the other prisoners.

There are prisoners who live very cushy lives in jail. Anyone with proper mafia or gang connections, for instance.
