Read a story the other day that the "ground zero mosque imam" called him and they talked about it, and he agreed to not burn the korans.
Then I read yesterday they "ground zero mosque imam" said, "Uh, no, I never talked to him."
So now I wonder if someone called and lied claiming to be the "ground zero mosque imam." Not like it would be hard to pull off.

No, he talked to an imam in Florida, who said he'd try to get a call with the NY imam, so that story was incorrect.

I still can't believe the higher ups over there can claim to be anything except paranoid, secretive accountants who are torn between the ambivalence of: (a) destroying centuries of evidence indicting the immensely corrupt bastards responsible for untold crimes against humanity or (b) preserving the various historical, theological, nostalgic, etc., info contained within said damning documents.
