Don't they make some sort of buoyant spheroid you can hit with some shitty, third-hand clubs you've got lying around while getting drunk?
It's the golf carts that become a major issue. Carts are kind of required for outings and leagues.
Didn't we discuss these water powered sump pumps before, and how they were like perpetual motion machines?

Did we?

I think there has been a total of 6 hours of sunlight over the last 3 or 4 weeks and I am about to eat a bullet. Suddenly I live in Seattle.

I honestly haven't noticed. I'm sure I've seen the sun here and there and you're exaggerating.

To be fair though, I wouldn't give a fuck. I was thinking this morning while looking out the window, "I wish I lived where the sun doesn't come up for 6 months." Fuck the sun. It's trying to kill you. Perhaps I was Vlad the Impaler in a former life?

I do remember a similar weather pattern when I was in New Mexico. Not only was the sun gone for two weeks, but where I was is elevated, so the clouds sat right on top of us.

People from Michigan are human garbage.

I'm glad I'm not from there.

If.yiu have Michigan plates on your car, you're from Michigan.

For almost a month i have had a couple more outside projects I have to do prior to the snows, and it has either been raining, about to rain, or recently rained and everything is mud, and it is always overcast so the ground never dries. It is nice you haven't been paying attention, human garbage, but stuff your opinions about my observations in a sack, mister.

Listen you beatnik hippie, just because you were lazy and didn't get your work done before the rain doesn't mean Bush/Haliburton/Global Warming/Trump is to blame. Stop being such a progressive by trying to publicly shame others for not living where you live or having the EXACT SAME life experiences.

I've been keeping an eye out for a movie you'd skip out of work for. I already have Star Wars plans on the 16th so that won't work.

Sure she isn't trying to learn pointers for the inevitable day she figures your life insurance money is too good a deal to pass up?

I knew making a post would finally break it. Bright and sunny, today. Hopefully by tomorrow the mud will dry a bit and I can get my shit done.

A few days ago, it was down to single digits in the daylight. It's 36 right now. Snow is actually melting if the wind doesn't blow too much.

Yep. 30 here, now.

The day after the snow event I went out to clear the driveway... and of course the snowblower is dead. Had to take it in to get the carb cleaned, so over those 3 days the driveway got (trigger warning for Leisher) packed hard, then we had the deep freeze, and I was hoping I wasn't going to have to deal with a shit driveway all winter. Forecast for 35ish degrees the next couple days... hopefully I can get it all cleared before it gets cold again.

I have shoveled twice this year. I think that ties or beats the number of times I did last year.
