That's my kid. The reason is that they have year-round schools here, which starts in July, so the cutoff is August 31. The boy's birthday is 2nd week of September. So he'll be a 6-year-old kindergartener. Plus he's tall for his age.

My kid was born the last week in September. He had a choice to wait a year. The wife trumped me and he went.

Oh wonderful.
He gets off the bus, and the first thing he says is, "My teacher says if you didn't vote for Obama then you are a racist."
