Renamed the thread to GamerGate2 as that's what it's being called. Per the tweets below, some professor is getting rich off of it and both the U.S. and Canadian governments are getting involved in gaming "extremism".

Oddly, I cannot recall ever being recruited and I've been gaming since the 80s. I DO remember the U.S. military using video games as a recruiting tool though...

Although, I would make the argument that FarCry 5 New Dawn is where they should start if they want to look into extremism being painted in a positive light.

Sweet Baby Inc has basically been curb stomped into irrelevance, which is a huge win for gamers and civilization.

However, there's another company, Dragonbaby, that has positioned itself as a translator service for foreign gaming companies looking to introduce their games to English speaking audiences, and guess what they're doing. First, their work is dogshit per Japanese gamers who say their translations are really poor. Second, they're adding in woke bullshit that is not in the original game's story.

How narcissistic do you have to be to think you have the right to alter someone else's work to insert your own fucked up world view?
