I just got a huge aspect of the film. It adds to it, but if I’m being honest, it’s been done better in terms of story telling.

This is the longest film, taking the most meandering route, to an uncertain conclusion, that I've ever enjoyed.

Kid liked it, too.

Tarentino seems to be filling his 'verse which much less bummer versions of events.... Hitler getting machine-gunned in the movie theater, this movie. etc.

In the real Manson murders... wasn't Charlie a participant?

Yeah but I thought he was there personally.

For no reason. I just never heard otherwise.

He was not at the Tate murder, no.

Also, without googling, did you understand what the overall point of the movie was?

I would not bet a dollar that I did not understand the point of the film.

Brad Pitt still looks good with his shirt off in 2020?

The awards shows seem to back this up.

It's about aging and finding your value once what society used to value about you goes away.

So, Brad Pitt found he still had value after killing the dirty fucking hippies?

The little tidbit that he "got away with killing his wife" was interesting.
