28 Weeks Later

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

I forget where I saw it, but I remember some actor or director talking about it being made. I believe it's in production right now.

Can't believe we've got a thread buried somewhere for 28 Days Later, but not this.

Synopsis:
A PSA for quarantine procedures takes a left turn.

Review:
Its predecessor was half a good movie; this one has a watchable 10-minute opening sequence. The rest is fucking awful. I almost expected some Predators to show up at the end so perhaps some ultimate puppet master would be shown pulling all the strings necessary to make it possible.

Violations of quarantine protocol any bio major should know? Check.

Soldiers armed with automatic weapons who are seemingly deaf and can't hear the raging, blood-vomiting, running like a fucking diseased maniac on meth with his dick cut off zombies? Check.

Major plot twist thrown to jumpstart action out of nowhere and squeeze out another sequel? Check.

An international military organization that sends its troops into a biohazard situation without proper gear, support, and training? Check.

Really. This movie is simply fucking horrible.

Verdict:
Watch Snatch to remind yourself that Danny Boyle didn't always suck.

I searched for "28 weeks later" then "weeks" then "28." Nada. In other news, our opinions seem to concur.

Searched "28," "Everything since the beginning." Was about 3 pages down.

Ok, that's weird because it shows as the #1 result for me now. Wtf?

Because it is now the most recent conversation. Before it was about 5 years old, so deeper down the list.

What is the Ikon search algorithm from the days of yore in '06? Is it copied from an old Fortran implementation?
