onestly, I don't really see a massive issue with this except that it seems geared more towards ill gotten funds. Most adults already have cards, right?
Yeah, more often these days than anything is people having NO cash and not being able to do cash things.

Delayed September report shows U.S. added 119,000 jobs, more than expected; unemployment rate at 4.4%
It's a little sad that 119k jobs is good news, but it's definitely better news than the other job reports.

I'm going to go ahead and bet a dollar that we're in a capital-D Depression before the end of 2025.
I'll take that bet.

Saw an article yesterday and lost the link, but it was from someone credible interviewing a finance guy who is predicting the housing market is going to crash soon. He believes prices will fall by 50%.
He might not be wrong. In my local area I see houses sitting on the market for much longer than previously, and many are getting huge price cuts, but still not selling.

I saw the headline, did not read. I 0% believe him, barring a depression. Things are slowing down, sure, somewhat. But 50% is obscene.

To be fair to him, so are housing prices.

I've always hate how this is phrased.
"Private companies, mostly, purposely eliminated an average of 13,500 jobs a week over the past four weeks." That's more honest.

Michael Dell and his wife did something today involve some Trump program I've never heard of, but this apparently shits on other billionaires' donations or something? I don't know. I'm not a billionaire and don't know this shit.
And that's all I have to say about this video...

TIAA-CREF add from 30 years ago (hopefully real, didn't dig into it). Even with the recent inflation run-up, I feel their numbers were high. Though I admit I'm not entirely sure how much a burger + fries is these days, since there's so much variability.
